According to a Gallup poll, there are six needs people have today:
- To believe life is meaningful and has purpose
- To have a sense of community and deeper relationships
- To be appreciated and respected
- To be listened to and heard
- To feel that one is growing in faith
- To have practical help in developing a mature faith
